We offer guided tours of Medieval England of 3, 5, 7 or 14 days duration throughout the main tourist season. During the off-peak season we will happily tailor tours to your own requirements. Each tour commences on the 3rd Saturday of each of the summer months. Our 14 day Medieval tour is exciting and steeped in the romance and treachery of this often dark, but also inspirational period of this island's history. Accompanied by our resident historian, you will be visiting some of England's best known sites and many sites not normally included in the usual tourist trail. |

You will be in awe of the Tower of London, built by William the conqueror, and its grisly past. From here you will visit the remains of the Jewel Tower built by Red Rufus, William the conqueror's son. Experience this site's atmosphere and walk in the footsteps of the early the kings and queens of England. |

At Runnymede you will stand on the site where the Magna Carta was signed by King John. This important document was meant to curb the power of the monarchy… But did it? We shall see. |

Enjoy an overnight stay in a Castle, and savour a medieval banquet. Later you will visit a Medieval Palace, which is a most unusual and stunning site.
We shall see how the ordinary people lived during our tour, and explore many beautiful medieval villages and
later visit a medieval home. During this period, the Black Death devastated the English countryside, and many villages
such as Wareham Percy disappeared when over half of the country's population died.

Shop in the beautiful red sand stone city of Chester, with its two tiered shopping area. Marvel at the medieval features which still remain after so many years. At York, we will learn why religion played such a huge part in the people's lives and discover some of this city's dark secrets. |

We will visit Whalley Abbey and then follow the Cadfael trail at Shrewsbury. Here we will be introduced to the monastic life of Peter Ellis' warrior monk and the role this played in the Medieval community.
