Time Travel Tours UK Ltd is a family run company registered in England and Wales (Company Registration 5594997) and based in the United Kingdom. We are proud of the island's historical heritage and would like to share it with you.
Our tours are unique and will take you back in time. We offer guided tours and short breaks of 3, 5, 7 or 14 days duration throughout the main tourist season. Choose one of four themed tours and experience history ranging from Pre-historic, Roman, Medieval and Tudor periods. Throughout each tour you will be accompanied by a historian and archaeologist who will make history come alive. All tours are fully inclusive of admission fees plus dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. Our
Pre-historic tour is steeped in mysteries. Experience 10,000 years of history
as mankind emerged out of the Ice Age.
We will travel
to the four corners of the British Isles, from New Grange in Ireland to
Stonehenge in England.
Through
re-enactments and living experiments, you will get a glimpse of how our
pre-historic ancestors lived and died. |

Roman England Tour Experience the 400 years of Roman military occupation of England. Step back in time to see where Caesar first landed and discover whether or not he told the truth in his annals. Discover how the native population were betrayed by the in-fighting of their own leaders and delivered into the hands of the Roman Empire. Follow in the footsteps of the Roman Army from the first landing in the South to the building of Hadrian's Wall in the North. Get a taste of both Roman and Celtic life styles through re-constructions and re-enactments at many of the sites. |
Medieval England Tour This tour is steeped in the romance and treachery of this often dark, but also inspirational period of England's history. You will visit the Tower of London and experience it's grisly past. At Runnymede you will see where the Magna Carta was signed by King John. Stand on the very spot that Thomas Becket was murdered at Canterbury Cathedral. Enjoy the magnificence of Warwick Castle, where you will be enthralled by jousting, falconry and archery displays. From York Minister learn why religion played such a vital part in the lives of our medieval ancestors. |

On this tour you will be introduced to the despotic rulers of Tudor England who thought little of removing the heads of any who dared to question their authority.
